realistic as possible the data availability situation at each forecasting time.
When producing your real forecasts you almost always lack some information for
the recent hours or days, such as reliable historical outcome or weather
observations the recent hours. The settings for recreating forecasts are mainly
for mimicking this lack of data and are specified in the extract dialog in the
follow up tab. This is displayed when the user clicks on the or the in the ‘Extracts’ box
and then click again on or the in the dialog that appears. Switching to
recreated forecasts for an extract is done by choosing “Recreated forecasts” to
the right.
