The ‘Forecast settings’ which are copied from the forecast settings in the ‘Home’-tab specify which sort of weather forecast should be used as forecast weather and also if observed weather may be used at all for the forecast weather. The ‘Use normal’ indicates whether any normal (climate) weather should be allowed to fill any gaps in the weather data. More on this under ‘Forecast settings and missing data’.
