Aiolos “WebConnect” service can be used to automatic zip series (configurable) and all needed files and send to Vitec as a background process.
Purpose for that can be to be for Vitec to find and debug problems, or just for an automatic backup of customers Aiolos configuration.
The zip results are saved in the status database found on the server. (StatusLogs.accdb in the data catalogue). StatusLogs.accdb has two tables, one for the Status messages shown in Aiolos Forecast Studio – FILE, and one table for Follow Up results.
After running an automatic the results of zip can be found in table “Status”, see below picture.
And if needed the result can be configured to send e-mail to some mail recipient if “NrSuccess” is 0 and “NrWarning” or “NrErrors” set to 1.
To activate “WebConnect” function that sending zip file to Vitec you have to configure an account in “Web Service Settings”. This is done in Aiolos Forecast Studio in FILE – Settings.
