Fetch, upload or convert data before or after a forecast is run in AFS using the Batch file script user. A user account with user rights in all path in batch files must be configured in the “Settings” dialog in Forecast Studio.

A batch file can be triggered by Aiolos before or after every forecast or import/export protocol. This can be useful for example to convert import files to another format before importing the data into Aiolos or to move the exported files to an FTP after the export out from AFS.

The following arguments is sent to command file from AFS to determine when to trigger the batch file

PRE = before all import/export

POST = before all import/export

PREDEF = before all import/export definition

POSTDEF = before all import/export definition
