Before carrying out the load forecast, you must also choose which type of weather/weather forecast you want to use on which to base the load forecast. You can choose the weather forecast type in the “Weather type” menu.

If you have observed weather for the period to be forecast (for example, if you are going back in time and starting the load forecast to check the quality of the load forecast), you should check the “Use observed” check box, since actual values will then be used if they exist.
