Model based on technical specification

If historic data are missing for the solar park, the forecast model will be based on the installed maximum capacity, specified in “Max value (MW)” together with “Max output radiation” which is the least radiation value assumed to yield maximum output. The resulting forecasts will be the solar radiation scaled with the ratio between the installed capacity and “max output radiation”. If the “Max output radiation” value is omitted, the program will use 900 W/m^2 as default and the user will be alerted with a warning message.

Normally, the user will be alerted by a warning message if the model based on technical specification is used. However, this warning can be suppressed in case no data are expected, by setting “Max model size” to -1 or the “Search window (h)” to a non-positive number, e.g. -999.
