The configuration in Aiolos Forecast Studio is made in CONFIG tab. Here you can create new forecast series, adjust model settings, weather and much more.

The database where the configuration setup is saved is found in the Aiolos\Data catalog. Prior to any large configuration changes or testing one should first make a backup copy of the database.

A backup can be made either by using the Zip function in FILE tab which zips down all important files in the configuration for backup purposes or one can simple copy the aiodef.db file found in the Aiolos\Data catalog on the server.

CONFIG basically consists of the windows for BuildTree window, the Grid window and the properties window. When working on a series in your tree structure, right click on the series to “Find in grid” and in the next step you will see the series properties both in grid and in properties window. Changes can be made either in the grid or in properties.
