From Aiolos Forecast Studio 11.0 we have developed a new comprehensive tool for advanced indata control. The Indata control in Aiolos Forecast Studio will help the user to take care of errors or bad values in historical load and/or production data and is thus an important tool for improving forecast quality.

The indata control for each import series is based on one or several Rules for Data Boundaries. During the import process these bounday rules are applied to the series import data and results in a pre-set action for the rule that is applied.

An action for a breached rule can e.g. be an automatic block of bad indata, quarantine the data or alert the user with a warning for user review.

We recommend a daily workflow in Aiolos Forecast Studio where the user reviews today´s indata in the INDATA-tab for any warnings or alerts prior to the forecast process in HOME and VIEW.
