The automatic forecasts and exports out from the system can be checked prior to an export. This will make sure deviating exports are not sent to your trading system.
The system can block or warn for automatic exports in series level. With the warning you are alerted but the export is still made, while the block setting will both warn the user and stop the export.
Reasons to block or warn for an automatic export can be:
•Compareextract:
Comparison to other forecast for the same period
The export data can be compared to a previous made forecast. This way you can set the automatic forecast to always be compared to your latest manually made forecast. Making sure you have controlled all data that goes out from Aiolos.
•Forecast:
Warnings from the forecasting models
When making a manual forecast you will get all information from the models. A warning is often an information to the user e.g. a values was ignored by the model for exceeding the limits or the adaption was not made for this time as it was outside your tolerance bounds. The warning can also be of a more severe kind e.g forecast weather data is missing and normal weather is used instead.
•Fraction:
Missing fraction warnings
Using fractions for series in Aiolos it is common that some fractions are missing. This can be for example due to a net area that is no longer valid. Missing fractions for a series will result in a zero forecast for that series.
•Max or Min:
Values in exported forecast goes outside the bounds of a set limit range
Absolute limits can also be set and applied as a check of the export.
•Datacheck:
Block export in case any warning tolerances are met in the datastatus check. This can e.g. be if weather data has not come in as it usually does in the morning or if the import of load data has malfunctioned for any reason.
Tip! The datastatus block option can be set up as a parallell automatic export only used to create an e-mail for the user in case any weatehr or load data is missing for the day. Then the user gets that information before even opening the program and can take actions.
