Via Aiolos imports, data is imported into Aiolos’ own data files that the system can then utilise to make rapid forecast calculations. Each type of input data file, i.e. each file type, is imported with a special import protocol. Data can for instance be imported from a text file, Excel documents or be read in from a database.

In the Forecast Studio environment, it is AiolosConsoleUI that implements the various protocols. A general description of how you execute imports is provided in the section entitled “AiolosConsoleUI”.
