This import reads data from a database. In addition to reading data from SQL databases, this import can be used to read values from Excel files, XML files (FAME format) and text files. A major benefit of this is that you can perform simpler calculations in the SQL query. You can used both ODBC and OLEDB data sources to read from.

SQL import handles both load and weather (forecasts + observations) and weather data can be interpolated. Import with SQL also manages minute values for load (e.g. 15-min values) that are part of the same hour.
