The Delphi – Plan model can be used for forecasting wind production availability. The model is similar to the Delphi model, but differs from the latter in two respects. If there are values in the file for measured load/production, these will be used primarily as the forecast (as a plan model). In addition, you can specify a constant in the same way as for the Const model and, if the last measured value coincides with this value, the forecasts for all hours ahead in time will be based on this value. In addition by checking the ‘Exclude default value’ checkbox, all medians based on a window that ends with the constant default value will be excluded from the training.
To use a model of this model type as an availability model, first define special availability forecast series, import the values into aio1-files, make forecasts for these series, export these forecasts and reimport them as availability values for the wind production series.
